Riesbach near Zurich in 1857, was taken over by Mr. Conrad Kern in 1920.

Increasing building activity and motorization changed the products by adaptation to customer demands from tools for stoneprocessing up to auxiliaries for the developing concrete construction.

In its core businesses formwork and scaffolding, Conrad Kern AG went through an astonishing development in the subsequent decades.
